Laboratory & Batch Process Microwave Products

MRA concentrates on laboratory and batch process microwave ovens. We can customize ovens specifically for your application and needs. MRA has produced thousands of laboratory type microwave ovens. All of the microwave ovens we provide go through extensive safety testing and quality checks before they are shipped.

Laboratory Microwave Ovens
Our standard microwave ovens are built to withstand the constant use that is common in today’s laboratories. Combine the standard oven with our available optional features and you will have just the microwave oven you need to provide years of reliable and consistent processing. The customized microwave oven or a standard microwave oven model is an excellent choice for sample processing in laboratory environments for:

Digestion
Extraction
Cell fixation
Food analysis
Ceramics processing
Synthesis

Heating media
Ashing
Hydrolysis
Cell staining
Histology
Raw material quality/acceptance testing

Batch Process Microwave Products
Our microwave ovens offer versatility and are excellent choices for commercial or light industrial batch processing equipment. Temperature controls, infinite power adjustment and increased cavity airflow all facilitates commercial or light industrial batch processing by making these the most consistent process equipment available. Even if the processing conditions or product varies, the features on these ovens allow for adaptability meaning less scrap, higher product quality and faster processing. An example where MRA has successfully placed microwave ovens into an application was for a company that molds shoe soles. The microwave oven was used to pre-heat the soles before molding. The introduction of these microwave ovens allowed the elimination of the third shift of operation. This allowed the company to significantly reduce its overhead while maintaining it production rate, thus increasing the company profitability.

MRA has supplied microwave ovens for the purposes of:

Rubber processing
Shoe sole manufacturing
Ceramics production
Elastomer manufacturing
Soil preparation
Desiccant drying
Castings & molds
Therapeutic device warming
Cosmetic processing

Custom Engineered Microwave Systems
MRA designs and manufactures customized microwave process systems to your specifications. The pictured equipment to the right is typical of the conveyors that we manufacture for drying, cross-molecular curing, pharmaceuticals, food items and various other types of heating processing. This particular conveyor cooked one kilogram of bacon in less than two minutes for a chain of fast food restaurants.

We can help determine which type and size microwave system is best for your application. We can help determine the feasibility and economics of such microwave system specific for your applications. We are always excited to help in developing a new idea.
