- A microwave leakage survey meter to test for microwave leakage from your microwave. The survey meter is easy to use and simple to follow instructions are included. The microwave survey meter for 2.45 GHz, the operating frequency of microwaves and its calibration is traceable to NIST (Nation Institute of Standards and Technology) standards. The testing satisfies ANP.27720 for annual microwave leakage. A test record is included.
- A microwave safe container and a calibrated thermometer to measure temperature reproducibility ANP.28290 and output power of the microwave. Instructions on how to measure temperature reproducibility and output power of the microwave. A test record and worksheet is included.
- A discussion of acceptable microwave transparent materials along with a record for ANP.28860 microwave transparent material is included.
- A sheet of helpful hints on getting the most out of your microwave processing.
The tests for microwave leakage and temperature reproducibility are easy to perform but should be performed with care by the person responsible for the safety of the laboratory and equipment.
