BP-110 Laboratory Microwave

A low cost laboratory microwave from Microwave Research and Applications
for histology staining, antigen retrieval, post embedding processing and other laboratory processing.  The BP-110 can also be used to reduce wastewater treatment solids testing time and other general laboratory processing.

BP-110

The BP-110 is a laboratory grade microwave with time and power based process control just like a domestic microwave oven that many histologists use every day.  It produces up to 1,000 watts of microwave power, the most common power level of domestic microwave ovens sold today meaning you should be able to use your existing protocol.  The microwave has a powered cavity ventilation system that can be connected into a fume hood, the laboratories’ air handling system or to an optional stand alone laboratory air handling system.

Applications/users:
Suggested uses include of this microwave includes drying slides, melting agar, enzyme/antigen retrieval, and staining in hospitals, histology, pathology and cytology labs of any size.  This microwave is intended to replace a domestic microwave often used in the histology laboratory.  Waste water treatment facilities can reduce their solids testing time from 6 hours using a hot air oven to 15 minutes using the microwave.
